Mass Bay RRE chartered an excursion over The Washington County Railroad, operated by Vermont Rail
System , on Saturday, April 4, 2009. There were two departure times from Montpelier, 11AM, and 230PM. The train consisted
of GMRC GP9R 804, and coaches 1312, and 1323. The excursion ran from just about the connection at Montpelier Jct., to Barre
Station. While the weather was less than ideal, the rain held out until the second trip, and the trip was worth it!
