CSXT Operates over The Metro North Railroad Harlem Line.
Though reportedly CSXT has rights as far north as White Plains, rights are not exercised north of
Mount Vernon.
CSXT runs in The Bronx, and north into Westchester County terminating active service at The
Mount Vernon West Freight Yard.
CSX serves all of it's Metro North on-line customers out of it's Croton West Yard facility.
Service is provided Monday-Friday, during night hours.
On literally just a few occasions over the most recent years, has the opportunity arisen to photograph
CSX gracing the rails of The Harlem Line during daylight hours.
In The Bronx, is Tulnoy Lumber at Claremont Park.
In Mount Vernon, is Endico Potatoes, who make some
REALLY delicious Potato Salad!
